Teardrops fall from her sky,
Upon these lips to taste,
What a hollow beast,
To look her in the eyes,
I made her cry.

What does the moon not reveal,
The ghostly presence of her voice,
Fills my mind, it melts,
Never wanting to let go,
There is not a feeling left in her to steal.

No longer able to walk amongst the rest,
I bury my head into my chest,
Violent images of what I never thought I could do,
How much torture I put my lover through.

This wolf howls alone!
No cry to be heard,
No heart to be held,
Come with me if you dare,
The moon and I,
Let us serenade in our despair.

Monstrous eyes of thunder,
Can you  not see I am the beast?
Beauty’s love cannot  tame what I have become..

I swear that I bite,
My beauty, I shall fill your heart with fright,
Run while you can,
Someday you will understand.

This wolf howls alone!
Let my love’s burden be unknown,
I could never kill what I want,
But I know what you need,
Can you hear me, please?
I know that you want me to smile once more,
To hold in your embrace,
Look me now, such a disgrace.

If there is love in you for me,
I could never be the one you need,
Beauty could never tame this beast,
I made you cry,
Let my passion never die,
This wolf howls alone.

Wondeful. This is a beautiful extended metaphor and I like many parts of it, but most especially the seemingly simple statement "I swear that I bite" Very interesting, and a favorite for me.

Once again, a great poem. Seems almost like a poem about a werewolf to me that, because of what she is, won't be able to return her lovers love. For the broader picture, it could mean that someone treated her love badly and feels terrible for it. The image of a wolf howling alone really gives this poem a sense of sadness. I really like this poem!
