I’m your biggest lie,
You can’t even look in my eyes,
Breathe
Just a little longer,

I can’t inspire you to love,
Or even plant the desire,
Just a faded image in your mind,
I wish you could see you have a place in mine.

Oh the things you can do,
The courage that flows through!

Would you  breathe a little slower,

At the pace of desire..
Such things you inspire!

When there’s nothing my muse can’t do,
Where do I, mediocre, come to?
I need to stop

And living so fast,
All the good things will always pass me by,
If I never stop to breathe,
Inspire these lungs,
Show me, how to breathe a little slower,
By holding a bit closer,
